We ask the Knights of Columbus Councils and the Parishes of the Assembly who need to have an Honor Guard present at a Council or Parish function to get as many of there own members as possible to participate. Please call our Commander, Doug Sallows, at (419)698-3813 or our Navigator, Gregory Wissinger at (419) 389-1656 if you would like the Bishop Hoffman Assembly Honor Guard at your Council or Parish function.
One month notice is necessary to ensure that enough Honor Guard members can participate. However, be assured the Honor Guard will assist with as many Honor Guard members as we can for funerals on much shorter notice.

Honor Guard Practice
Bishop Hoffman Assembly #807 and Monsignor Yates Assembly #2800 hold monthly Honor Guard practices. Please refer to your Assembly newsletter for date, time, and location. Please bring your chapeau (or a baseball hat) to the practice.
Regalia
If you have or know of someone who has slightly used regalia that you are not using and would like to donate it to the Assembly, please call Ray Darr at (419)382-00543904. Inform your spouse that you wish to have your regalia donated to the Assembly upon your passing to be used by a new Sir Knight. If you are a Sir Knight and you need regalia, please contact Ray or Jim today.
Colors
Many people have asked about the various colors of capes and chapeau plumes worn by the Fourth Degree Honor Guard when in full regalia, and what these colors siginify. They are as follows:
Vice Supreme Master
Light blue cape and light blue chapeau plume
Master
Gold cape and gold chapeau plume
District Marshal
Green cape and green chapeau plume
Commander
Purple cape and purple chapeau plume
Navigator
White cape and white chapeau plume
General Membership
Red cape and white chapeau plume
Once a Sir Knight attains an office, he is entitled to wear the colors of that office until he elected or appointed to a higher office, except for the Marshal (appointed by the Master of District) and the Honor Guard Commanders (appointed by the Navigator) who are appointed for a specific term and then revert to their previous colors when that term expires.
